Animation Mentor Funtime!

So I have been doing the Maya Springboard class as a prereq to the Animation Mentor term and so far I've learned a ton. Below is a screen shot of a set that I made. I made everything from scratch, the character, the house and all the props and I added all the textures and colors as well as the lighting. I am still working on the lighting for this week. But compared to what I knew a month ago, WOW! Yay AM!

Oh, and this is Nathan, he just came back from his daily trek to the mailbox where he found a gold locket.

Hand

And last exercise of the day, a hand with one finger nail. Not great. But I learned somethings. Tomorrow Chapter Six ANIMATION! Yay.

Egghead and Eggholder

All I can say is that maya is bizarre. This egghead was a little more challenging and clearly I haven't come close to grasping the push and pulling of the Sculpt Geometry tool.

Temple!

Yay! Finally have Maya and just finished making my first architectural structure, a temple! The Maya Springboard class starts the 27th, and I want to get familiar with the program a little bit more before then. Can't Wait!
